Kennel Finrock is mainly interested in producing
healthy working dogs. Quantity is not our goal, but to find such combinations
we hope to have new workers in our own team. Because of that, we dont’ have
puppies very often. In my opinion a good dog has a strong mind to be
able to work hard also in difficult conditions and under pressure. Dog should
be able to learn the basics and also to work in a team. Movement and
structure are important, but I see them more of a way to accieve the target,
a good working dog, than a main thing to go for. Good dog eats well and is
free of all ilnesses. Besides my own dogs we have trained and competed
with some of my friends dogs. We also have taken
care of dogs time to time for other reasons than training for competitions.
The District Vetenarian of Lapland has cheked kennels dogs and stuctures and
found them suitable for it’s use. Kennel is also
developing a self control -program in dogs
